The Aleph: UNAM’s Art and Science Festival – An Interdisciplinary Dialogue ​

The Aleph is a festival that breaks down the boundaries between art and science, focusing on interdisciplinary research to address the complexity of the contemporary world. Inspired by Jorge Luis Borges’ short story The Aleph—a symbol of universality and unity—the festival creates a space for dialogue across disciplines. Through conferences, talks, debates, and exhibitions, The Aleph reflects how art and science converge to understand and transform the human experience. Since its first edition in 2017, it has explored themes such as the brain, consciousness, artificial intelligence, neuroscience, neural plasticity, memory, cognition, as well as disorders like depression and anxiety.
