Upcoming issues

This issue explores the urban challenges for the 21st century, from a critical perspective and with positive development proposals, emphasizing multi-disciplinary work that integrates research, linkages, and reflection for the analysis and transformation of cities.

The issue will address key subjects like urban-social conflicts (gentrification, inequality, migration), urban mobility and transportation, and environmental crisis; cities and climatic resilience (cities facing global warming consequences), access to public space, as well as future cities models, from “smart cities” to alternative sustainable urban development.
